Mention one effect of seasons on low and high altitude

as for eg:jamaica has  a low latitude and the sun rays r falling directly near to the equator it is having a very high temperature throughout the year.and like in arctic circle which is in high latitude and the sun rays are always in a slanting way so it experiences a very low temperature throughout the year.
