Thyroxine

✏ Controls metabolism of proteins, carbohydrates and fats through energy production. It also controls metamorphosis in frog.

Insulin

✏ Increases use of glucose in respiration and changes excess of glucose into glycogen in liver cells.

Adrenalin

✏ Increases the metabolism and energy production to prepare body to meet emergency conditions like fight, flight, etc.

Growth hormone

✏ Stimulates growth of body by increasing bone formation, metabolic rate, protein synthesis and cell division.

Testosterone

✏ Controls growth and functioning of secondary sex organs like epididymis, penis, etc. and appearance of secondary sexual characters of male type like facial hair, broadening of shoulder, increased height, etc.
