Answer:

The ground tissue is a type of tissue which do not perform vascular or dermal function in the plant. Three types of ground tissue are known based on the nature of cell wall. They are parenchyma, collenchyma and sclerenchyma.

The main function  of parenchyma cell is to help the photosynthesis and nutrient storage. It consists many chloroplast and have a large vacuoles and they are known to form most of the masses of stem, roots and leaves.

Sclerenchyam tissue provide main structural support to the plant and collenchyma consists of thin cell wall and it provide extra mechanical support in the new growth region of the plant.
