- Electrons move in circular paths called orbits around the nucleus.

- According to Maxwell's Electromagnetic theory, if a charged particle os accelerated around another charged particles , it emits Energy.
- Hence , as the electrons move around the positively charged nucleus, they are bound to lose energy and go into spiral circuit, finally falling into the nucleus.
