Seasonal unemployment is the unemployment caused by seasonal variations when the workers get employment only for a limited period and remain idle for the remaining period. Agricultural workers in India do not get work throughout the year. They remain unemployed for about three to four months in a year.
Disguised unemployment is a situation in which more people are doing work than actually required. Even if some are withdrawn, production does not suffer. In other words, it is employment with surplus manpower in which some workers have zero productivity.
