first of all we will discuss about adolescence...
ADOLESCENCE:- it is the period of life when our body's undegrown changes leading to reproductive maturity. this age starts to from the age of 11 and last April 18-19 years of life.
Adolescence, or teenage as we more commonly know it, it is these few years where the child not only grows into adulthood physically, but also mentally and emotionally.
now, what is PUBERTY?
=> during adolescence human body under go many changes and these changes are called puberty. at this stage both girls and boys become capable of Reproduction.
PHYSICAL CHANGES DURING PUBERTY:-
1. increase in height.
2. there is a sudden increase in height of boys and girls but girls grow faster than boys upto 18 years of age.
3. The texture and appearance of a child's skin gradually changes, becoming more like that of an adult.
physical changes in GIRLS:-
1. waist becomes wider.
2. Hair growth in the pubic area and the armpits are also observed.
3. A major physical development is that of the breast that grows during the teenage years.
4. becomes very pitching voice.
physical changes in BOYS:-
1. growth of muscles.
2. Adam's apple (larynx) begins to grow.
3. There is a hair growth observed in the pubis area, armpits as well as the chest and the face.
4. the boys have deep voice.
It also very important to keep in mind that though the physical development in adolescence is very rapid, the mental faculties are still in the developmental stage.
→ with adolescence comes a whole new range of emotions, a new found sense of responsibility and freedom, and a lot of physical changes.
→ mental health issues, such as depression and/or anxiety, can become extremely serious if not detected and treated early.
