During the apartheid period in South Africa-
1. the black were not allowed to live in white areas.
2. Hotels,schools,parks,taxis,public toilets,theaters,libraries etc were all separate for blacks and whites.
3.The blacks were not allowed to protest against the ill treatment.
4. They were not provided equal work opportunities
