Mention the categories into which the forest were divided as per the forest act 1878 Very short answer

the forest act of 1878 divide forest into 3 types the types were:-

1) Village forest - forest which can be used by villagers.

2)Protected forest - this was protected under the colonial rule and only can be used by villagers under the permission of forest officer.

3) Reserved forest - this forest was best forest. And people were not allow to go there .This forest contain best variety of trees and plant including wildlife also.
