Mention the cause and symptom of a disease goiter. how it can be controlled ? correlate this disease with an endocrine gland.

If a person is suffering from goitre then his/her neck will swell out. It is caused because of the deficiency of one of the important hormone which is Thyroxine.
It can be controlled by the intake of sufficient iodine in the body. it can be through common salt also. this hormone Thyroxine is released by an endocrine gland which is Thyroid Gland.
