Answer:

Commutative Property of Addition means

a+b = b+a

Distributive Property of Multiplication means

a × b = b × a

If a = 1/2 and b = 3/4,

a + b = ½ + ¾ = 5/2

b + a = ¾ + ½ = 5/2

So, a + b = b + a.

HENCE PROVED.

a × b = ½ × ¾ = ⅜

b × a = ¾ × ½ = ⅜

So, a × b = b × a.

HENCE PROVED.
