Mention the components and functions of different Tissue Systems
Answers
Answer:
The epidermal tissue system forms the outer-most covering of the whole plant body and comprises epidermal cells, stomata, and the epidermal appendages. The epidermis is the outermost layer of the primary plant body hence provides protection to the internal tissues. Ground tissue is of three types parenchyma, collenchyma, and sclerenchyma(each having roles in food creation and storage or support during and after growth). All tissues except epidermis and vascular bundles constitute the ground tissue. The complex tissues are made of more than one type of cells and these work together as a unit. Xylem and phloem constitute the complex tissues in plants ( for water and food transport respectively).
Answer:
There are four basic tissue types defined by their morphology and function: epithelial tissue, connective tissue, muscle tissue, and nervous tissue.
Epithelial tissue creates protective boundaries and is involved in the diffusion of ions and molecules.
Connective tissue underlies and supports other tissue types.
Muscle tissue contracts to initiate movement in the body.
Nervous tissue transmits and integrates information through the central and peripheral nervous systems.
