Commercial crop -: these type of crop are purched by one party and sell to other mostly cereals crop are under this category such as wheat, barley, rice etc.

Cash Crops Food Crops
1. Cash crops are grown for direct sale in the market. 1. Food crops are grown in order to raise cultivated crops from the ground.
2. They are sold in the market mainly for profit. 2. They are grown for sale to satisfy one's need for energy.
3. For example, cocoa, coffee
All food crops can be cash crops but not all cash crops can be food crops. Food crops can be eaten by someone somewhere and so have a cash value. Not all cash crops can be eaten therefore they are not food crops.

Food crops are crops like corn, carrots, wheat, and strawberries. Food crops can be sold, which would make them cash crops as well.

Cash crops are sold, but some are not edible. Cotton and tobacco are examples of non-edible cash crops. Cotton is grown, but it is used to make the shirt you where instead of a meal you would eat.
hope it helps
