The growth of the animals like tadpoles are depends on the thyroxin hormone which is released by Thyroid Gland.


Iodine can produce proper amount of thyroxin hormone and it can maintain the thyroid gland.


So if you find increased iodine level in the water then it must grow some tadpoles.


On the other part, decrease level of iodine can reduce the growth level of tadpoles.
