In a community, the essential elements are:

1) Type or group of people- A community is formed with men and women. They are taken in a group. Type refers to their gender.

2) Sentiment of a community- Sharing same mental space, talking to each other, doing things together includes sentimental value to the people in a community.

3) Locality that is Definite- A community is formed in a particular space , covering up a geographical area.

4) Likeness and Permanency- Includes same sort of liking, activities, traditions. Also a community is permanent as it is based on a particular area.

5) Neutrality- It is not biased of any certain things since it is not created in a planned manner.

6) Definite name- A community is given a name so that it is identified and differentiated from other communities, as all communities are different.

7) Size and Regulations- A community size is not defined. It can be small or big. It can develop new rules , traditions, activities etc.
