The events occuring during photosynthesis is explained below in points -
(1) The first event which takes place is light absorption. The accessory pigments present in chloroplast called chlorophyll is plays a great role in it.
(2) In the second event, the light energy is converted into chemical energy. Alongwith it, water molecules are splitted into oxygen and hydrogen.
(3) In the last event, the carbon dioxide is converted into carbohydrates.
