not sure but

Bowls and dishes of a very fine type of pottery with a glossy finish were found. This pottery is known as the Northern Black Polished Ware (NBPW). These were probably used by rich people in the towns. Though some pots were found in the Harappan Civilisation, they did not had a glossy finish unlike in the early historic towns.
In the early historic cities, goods made up of various articles like ornaments, gold, bronze and iron were found. The people in the Harappan cities were not aware of iron as there has been no evidences of iron use.
The craftsmen and artisans organised themselves in guilds. We do not have any evidences about the existence of guilds during the Harappan period.
