Microsporogenesis - a) It is the formation of microspores from microspore mother cell due to meiosis.

b) Many spore mother cells are involved.

C) Microspore leads to the development of male Gametophyte.

d) Occurs in pollen sacs ( microsporangia) in anther lobes.

Megasporogenesis- a) It is the formation of megaspores from a mother cell due to Meiosis.

b) One spore mother cell is involved.

C) Megaspore leads to the formation of female Gametophyte ( embryo sac).

d) Occurs in nucellus of ovule.
