It's very important one because here the ovary releases ovum or egg( female gamete) it goes to infundibulum to the ampulla and stops at isthmus and ampulla junction waiting for sperm to fertilize (infundibulum , ampulla, isthmus are the parts of fallopian tube).Then if sperms enters through vagina to meet at junction then it move forwards and sticks on wall of vagina and the muscles over vagina provides nutritions to the foetus through blood to grow it into zygote and through menstrual cycle of 21 days and a period of 9 months an infant is formed.
