THYROXINE :Thyroxine is the main hormone secreted into the bloodstream by the thyroid gland. It plays vital roles in digestion, heart and muscle function, brain development and maintenance of bones.

INSULIN :Insulin is a hormone which plays a key role in the regulation of blood glucose levels. A lack of insulin, or an inability to adequately respond to insulin, can each lead to the development of the symptoms of diabetes.  In addition to its role in controlling blood sugar levels, insulin is also involved in the storage of fat.

ADRENALINE: Key actions of adrenaline include increasing the heart rate, increasing blood pressure, expanding the air passages of the lungs, enlarging the pupil in the eye , redistributing blood to the muscles and altering the body's metabolism, so as to maximise blood glucose levels (primarily for the brain).
