The placenta acts to provide oxygen and nutrients to the fetus, whilst removing carbon dioxide and other waste products. It metabolises a number of substances and can release metabolic products into maternal and/or fetal circulations.
Fallopian tube - (i) helps in carrying the egg from the ovary to theuterus.

Fallopian tunes are situated one on either side of the top of the uterus. At the end of the tubes are the ovaries, when an egg is released fingerlike fans waft the egg down into the tubes towards the uterus.

The placenta is joined to the inside of the uterus and the baby via an umbilical cord, the placenta transfers nutrients to the baby, filters the blood and removes waste products which are carried out into the mothers blood
