Answer:

Ovary: The main function of ovaries are:

- To provide shelter and protection of oocytes (female gamete) for the fertilisation.

- To produce hormones like estrogen, progesterone, relaxin and inhibin.

- To release one egg during each menstrual cycle, the process called ovulation.

Oviduct: also known as fallopian tube, is a long narrow duct located in the female abdominal cavity that transport male sperm cell to the ova from the ovary for fertilization and has small finger-like projections called fimbriae on the surface of the lining of cells. The main function is to assist in the transfer and transport of ovum from the ovary, to the uterus

Uterus: also called as a womb, an inverted pear-shaped female reproductive organ located in between the bladder and rectum. The main function is to nurture the fertilized egg that developed into the foetus until the baby is mature enough for birth.

The lining of uterus becomes thick in order to supply food to the foetus. The mother's blood carries all the food and supply it to the foetus. The blood also takes away the waste materials generated by the foetus
