Ozone layer is a protective umbrella of our earth. It protects us from uv rays of sun. In these days ozone hole is created due to global warming and lots of pollution. Use R mantra. Plant more and more trees.

IMPORTANCE OF OZONE LAYER
Ozone layer acts as a blanket in the atmosphere above 16 km from the earth's surface. It absorbs harmful ultraviolet rays coming from the sun and preventing them to reach the earth's surface.
OZONE HOLE
Decrease in quantity of ozone layer is called depletion of ozone which leads to the formation of ozone hole. Through this hole, the ultraviolet rays are reaching to the earth.
