Courts are important because they help protect our constitutional rights to equal protection and due process under the law. Both criminal and civil courts provide the opportunity for the parties to have their cases heard by neutral judges and/or juries.

It is connected with system of courts that administer both state and union laws. The Chief Justice and the other judges of the Supreme Court are appointed by the president. The Supreme Court has its own advisory and jurisdiction which has the power to enforce the primary rights mentioned in the Indian constitution.
