The thirteen colonies decided to glue up together against the Intolerable Acts that passed by the British government on the Western Colonies. The thirteen colonies arranged a meeting at Philadelphia in 1774 and formed the First Continental Congress to boost up the revolution for the independence.
The formation of First Continental congress is the result of the conflict between British troops and the colonial militia in Massachusetts. The conflict was formally known as Boston Tea Party.
