They are the trading nomads mostly they dealt with salt,multani mitti,and cattle which are their sources of livelihood

Banjaras were tribes originally from Rajasthan. They worked as transporters for the mughal army. They carried arms and provisions and set up their camps on the outskirts of army encampments. They transported grains from ages for trade in towns and cities.
