Main Function of Gram Sabha:-

1.Gram Sabha is a key factor in making the Gram Panchayat play its role and be responsible.

2.It is a place where all plans for the work of the Gram Panchayat are placed before the people.

3.Gram Sabha prevents the panchayats from doing wrong things like misusing money on favouring certain people.

4.It plays an important role in keeping an eye on the elected representatives.

5.The construction and maintenance of water sources,road,drainage,school building and other common  sources.

6.Levying and collection of local taxes.

7.Executing Governmental schemes related to generation of employment in the village.
