“tryst with destiny” was the famous speech of Jawahar Lal Nehru in the constitution assembly when he was elected the first prime minister of India.
He gave this speech on the eve of India's independence on midnight 14th August 1947.
Mr. Nehru talked about India's history in this speech and this speech was considered one of the greatest speech of the 20th century.
