HEYA FRIEND HERE IS YOUR ANSWER
Modern ways of irrigation in INDIA.
- There are many ways in Modern Irrigation among them mostly practiced and following in INDIA are using drips, sprinklers and poly houses .
- Apart from these we are using machines for Harvesting the crops. E.g., Paddy/Wheat Harvester, Cotton harvester, Wheat grass chaff cutter, ploughing machinery .
- While coming to watering we are using sprinklers drip system and now a days one more new one that’s Rain gun.
- Sprinklers used to sprinkles water in certain small area and it’s suitable for crops which used to grow up to 1 feet or max 1.5 feet.
- Drip System is used to watering like drops at near the roots of plant. It will cover a tiny area at plant, but suitable for big trees and horticulture plants too which used to grow bigger.
- Rain gun used to spread water like rain as in name and used to serve for crops which used to grow up to 4 feet or high also but we have to adjust sprinklers height as per crop size. Typical usage of Rain guns are in sugarcane, maize crops.
- By the way INDIA is not far more developed than other countries in agriculture we too developed but bit away than giant countries in agriculture like Israel, trying to reach them soon.

Agriculture is the main profession of our country and the agricultural science in our country also developed the different working procedures of the agriculture.
Similarly, the water supply procedures in the harvesting fields are also developed due to implementation of modern science and technology.
For example:
1) Jet spray sprinkling system.
2) Water guns.
3) Drone controlled water supply system. (it is the newest implementation and not widely used)
4) High power pumping motors are the most generic implementation in this section.
And many more.
