Habitats of a few animals

1. Natural habitat of a tiger is tropical forests, woodlands, evergreen forests, grasslands, mangrove swamps, rocky mountains and savannah. They are mainly found in South East Asian countries like China, Indonesia, India and even in a few Russian areas.  
2. Elephants are found in different habitats like grasslands, forests and savannah. They are mostly found in the Asian and African continents.
3. The habitats of the lions include the savanna, grasslands, open woodlands and the sense scrub regions. They are mostly seen in the Sahara region of Africa and the Asiatic lions are found in India.  
4. The wild asses are found in the desert steppes and arid regions of India and Pakistan. Their preferred habitats include semi-deserts, savannahs, arid grasslands, steppes, shrubs, mountain ranges in Asia and Africa.
5. Rhinoceros prefer areas with woody and dense vegetation. They generally live in the savannas that have mud wallows, water holes, grasses and shade trees where they can graze. They are mainly found in Africa and South Asia.
6. Snow leopards are found in the mountain ranges and high altitude rocky areas in Southern and Central Asia.
