The most outstanding features of renaissance architecture was their emphasis on symmetry, proportion, geometry and regularity of parts.It is the architecture of the period between the early 14th century and early 17th centuries in different regions of Europe. They demonstrate a conscious revival and promotion of certain elements of ancient Greek and Roman thought and material culture. This new architectural style had its beginning in Florence. Italian architects always preferred forms that were clearly defined and structural members that were expressive in their purpose.
