Mention the parts of flagella in the bacteria

there are three parts of the flagella ==>
(1) filamen (2) basal body (3) hook

(1)the filament is the longest portion and extends from the cell surface to the outside .

(2) hook is joint between basal body and filament.

(3) basal body is a rod and a system of rings embedded in the cell envelope.

Each flagellum consists of three distinct parts- Filament, Hook and Basal Body.

The filament lies external to the cell.

Hook is embedded in the cell envelope.

Basal Body is attached to the cytoplasmic membrane by ring-like structures.
