It all takes place in Nephron
the first step is ultra filtration.... the blood is filtered in glomerulus.
then occurs tubular re absorption....glucose, amino acid, and sodium ions are reabsorbed inlvoving proximal and distal tubule, loop of henel and collecting duct
and finally tubular secretion... ammonia, hydrogen and potassium are secreted
then urine pass into the ureter and collects in urinary bladder

The pathway of urine is as given below:
Explanation:
Urine is basically formed in the nephrons, which is the functional and structural unit of the kidney. Major steps involved in urine formation are:
• Ultra-filtration – Glomerular filtration is the process that occurs during filtration of blood.
• Tubular Reabsorption – Various substances like sodium ions, amino acids, and glucose are reabsorbed in this stage.
• Tubular Secretion – This is the most important step in which components like potassium, hydrogen, and ammonia is secreted. The urine formed is stored in the urinary bladder and passes through the ureter.
