In order to deal with the consumers grievances, different consumer courts have been formulated according to the pecuniary jurisdiction which can be explained as follows:

1. District Courts: The pecuniary jurisdiction of the District Consumer Dispute Redressal Forum is up to the amount which doesn't exceed 20 lakhs rupees.

2. State Commission: The pecuniary jurisdiction of the State Consumer Dispute Redressal Forum is up to the amount which exceeds 20 lakhs rupees but doesn't exceed 1 crore rupees.

3. National Commission: The pecuniary jurisdiction of the National Consumer Dispute Redressal Forum is up to the amount which exceeds 1 crore rupees.
