◻HERE IS UR ANSWER_____

<b>◻CATHODE RAYS:-

1). CATHODE RAYS TRAVEL IN STRAIGHT LINE.
2). THESE RAYS ARE DEFLECTED BY ELECTRIC FIELD. BRCAUSE THESE RAYS ARE NOTHING BUT ELECTRONS.
3). THESE RAYS TRAVEL NORMALLY FORM THE SURFACE OF THE CATHODE.
4). THESE RAYS ARE ALSO DEFLECTED BY MAGNETIC FIELD.
5). THE DIRECTION OF THESE RAYS IS INDEPENDENT FROM THE POSITION OF THE ANODE.
6). THESE RAYS PRODUCE FLUROSCENE.
7).THESE RAYS HAS SMALL IONOZING POWER.

Dear Student,

◆ Cathode rays -

  • Beam of electrons emitted from cathode of high vacuum tube is called cathod ray.

# Properties of Cathode rays -

  • They are produced from negative electrode (cathode).
  • They are attracted towards positive electrode (anode).
  • They travel in straight lines.
  • They cause fluorescence on material.
  • They have kinetic energy and can do work.
  • They may affect photographic plates.
  • They are deflected by electric and magnetic field.

Thanks dear. Hope this helps you.
