Gas is the third state of matter and it has the following properties:
1. It is made up of tiny particles called molecules which move in all possible directions and in all possible speeds.
2. It neither have a fixed volume not a fixed shape.
3. It exerts pressure in every direction.
4. It is highly compressible.
5. It is highly expansible.
6. It has liye density.
7. It has a natural tendency to mix with other fluids.
8. It can be liquefied.
