Decomposers and scavengers break down dead plants and animals. They also break down the waste (poop) of other organisms. Decomposers are very important for any ecosystem. If they weren't in the ecosystem, the plants would not get essential nutrients, and dead matter and waste would pile up.

every part of an ecosystem is vital to its survival from the green plants to the fury animals and microscopic bacteria. They break down dead animals and plants and return vital nutrients to the soil. They carry out the natural decomposition like herbivores and predators. they are heteroptoic. well they are very important for the ecosystem and soil and us.
