AUXIN- Auxin has a wide range of uses in a plant. Auxin control the growth , development and proliferation of individual cells within the plant. It gradient directly affects processes such as flower initiation, fruit development and tuber and bulb formation. Auxin stimulates respiration by increasing availability of respiratory substrate. It enhance metabolism due to mobilization of plant resources. Auxin increase storage of solutes inside the cell.

ABSCISIC ACID- This hormone mainly known as a growth inhibitor. It promotes the dormancy in seeds and buds. It promotes abscission of flowers and fruits. Its excessive presence stop protein and RNA synthesis in the leaves and therefore stimulates their senescence. It increases resistance of plants to cold and other types of stresses.
