Hello!

________________________________

Saliva is a fluid secreted by salivary glands present at the three places in the human body.

Saliva has enzymes named Salivary Lipase and Salivary Amylase.

Salivary Lipase converts complex sugar called as starch into simple sugar.

Salivary Amylase helps in converting fats into simpler compounds.

Saliva also makes the food wet so that the chewed food can glide through the food pipe.
