mention the similarities in the construction of D.C.generator and D.C.motor? Is it possible to use a D.C.motor as a D.C.generator?If so,how?​

These both have almost all the same construction( like aperture,magnets and connection.

But just a slight difference is in slip rings.

in AC motor the slip rings also rotates with the aperture while in DC it is not so.

So just replacing the slip rings we can convert the AC to DC as well as DC to AC.

Yes,the DC motor can act as generator. And the stator consist of permanent magnet. If dc supply is given to the armature,then it act as a motor converting electrical energy into mechanical energy. If the armature is rotated manually,then the armature winding cuts the stator magnetic field.
