Te digestion of carbohydrates takes place in mouth and small intestine. These two areas contain carbohydrate degrading enzyme called amylase.

The breakdown of protein starts in stomach where three enzymes pepsin, myosin and hydrochloric acid reacts on protein and break down into small units called amino acids.

The breakdown of fats normally takes place in small intestine. Pancreases release lipase which mix with bile and emulsify fats.
