There are several other types of wars other than the mostly heard Cold War. The International Politics has also witnessed LIMITED WAR which is fought between professional armies without widespread destruction. Combatants do not seek to completely destroy enemy`s social and economic framework. Another kind of war fought is GUERRILLA WAR where both the enemies use small, lightly armed militia. This kind of war is fought to topple the government by gaining public support, these wars are often very long but tent to have a successful result.
