Explanation:
1. LAN (Local Area Network)
A local area network is a type of network in which computers connected in a local unit or small geographical area such as schools and colleges. With the help of LAN cables and Wi-Fi we are connecting the local area network. In this network system we are using modem, switch server computer and desktop. First of all, we are taking network from ISP. Then, ISP will connect modem for LAN. Then we are using LAN cable to connect the modem with server computer and then at the other hand we are connecting WAN adaptor and connect it with the the server computer and then we are connecting it with the switch (D-LINK) then we are connecting the desktop from switch through LAN cables.
2. WAN (Wide Area Network)
Wide Area Network is a type of network in which computers are connected over large or graphical areas such as countries States or even the whole world like earth. The ISP is comes under wide area network.
3. MAN (Metropolitan Area Network)
Metropolitan Area Network is a type of network in which the computers connected over large geographical area such as district and city or we can say small state like Goa. By the help of ethernet cable for wireless system we are connecting dish network.
