Mention the types of pyrimidine nitrogen bases

There are totally five types of nitrogenous bases are used for the construction of the nucleotides, which forms and builds up the nucleic acids like DNA & RNA. Among the five, there are three kinds of pyrimidine nitrogen bases are there and they are as follows.

Type 1:


Cytosine (C)


Type 2:


Thymine (T)


Type 3:


Uracil (U).
