- Territorial States of British in the erstwhile North to South parts of the nation
- Princely States of French rule which was annexed by the French Invaders in the Mysore parts.
- Princely States of Portugal in the Southern parts of India especially Kerala.
- Princely States of Dutch rule(Netherland Kingdom) in the Eastern parts of India especially Goa,and some parts of Karnataka.
