Each Carbon atoms of ethene is attached to two hydrogen atoms by single covalent bonds and to another carbon atoms by double covalent bond.

3. It is used in manufacturing of synthetic chemicals.

Answer:- We can prepare it by taking 2 parts in 1 part take some ethyl alcohol in flask and in other part add con.Sulphuric acid in thisal funnel. Now, heat the flask in 170°C.

Ethane is evolved

The gas is passed through NaOH solution which helps in removing of Co2 and So2.

Ethene gas is collected by downward displacement of water.
