HEY MATE!!! ❤❤❤HERE'S UR ANSWER!!!❤❤❤
ADVANTAGES :
1.Will last for decades without requiring major repairs
2. No bumps, potholes, alligators, bleeding, corrugation, depression, reflective cracking, rutting, swelling, raveling or weathering – allowing a smooth ride.
3. Drivability
High friction
Great water drainage
Low noise
Strong visual contrast with center stripes and other markings
4. Safe during winter (in areas with freeze and snowfall)
5. It is the best path. This could mean scenic (provides amazing views along the way) or fastest. Ideally it follows the concept of “pave the cow paths”.
6. Saves money. Perhaps it costs more to plan, design and build, but in the long run a good road is more cost effective than a cheaply built temporary solution.
DISADVANTAGES :
Cost - roadtransport is much more expensive than rail.
Reliability - Hazards such as road accidents, traffic jams, vehicle break downs do not affect rail on the same scale as road transport.
Thedisadvantages of road transportation are weather, accidents, traffic, and limited speeds.

- Roadways in India has a very vast network as compared to other ways of transport like rail.
- Roadways can be extended to difficult terrains like mountains and hills.
- Roadways can be used anytime i.e you can use a road anytime unlike railways in which time of trains are fixed.
Disadvantages of roadways
- Poor maintenance of road.
- Frequent accidents.
- Inadequate roads i.e road density in India is not enough. We need to increase it and need to work on it.
