Mixture:- When two or more than two elements are mixed together in any proportion such that they can be separated by physical means like Magnetic sepration,picking etc.is called Mixture.

It is of two types:-

1.Homegenous Mixture:-The mixtures whose composition through all parts are same.

1) Solutions

Ex:- Lemonade,Sugar - water solution.

2.Hetrogenous Mixture:- The mixtures in which composition of all parts are not same .

1) Colloids

Ex:- Soap solutions.

2) Suspension

Ex:- Sand and water solution.

The Main Characteristics of Mixtures are :-

1)It can be separated by any physical means.

2) The Physical and Chemical property and composition of elements remains constant.

3)It is an impure substance having no chemical formula.
