1. It shows properties of its constituents i.e. it shows properties of all its gases.
2. It can be separated into its constituents by physical method of fractional distillation.
3. It does have a fixed composition.
4. Liquid air does not have a fixed boiling point.
5. No heat or light is released when air is prepared by mixing of gases.
