✳The author's grandmother was disturbed when he started attending the city school because of the following reasons :

✨He went there by a motor bus . Therefore , she could not accompany him to the school as she used to do in the village .

✨The school taught only Western science , the Archimedes Principle, and all . There were no teachings of god and scriptures . Thus, she could not help him with his studies also .

✨The thought that music lessons were given in the school also greatly disturbed her because according to her music was a monopoly of beggars not meant for gentle folk .

⭐Hence , she rarely asked him of his studies after that and confined herself to feeding sparrows , spinning wheel and praying .
