Elephants have many adaptations that allow them to thrive in their warm habitats:

1. Their big ears help them to stay cool with their many blood vesselswhere hot blood becomes cool blood.
2. They also have tusks that are made of ivory that can help them eat and protect themselves.

The Tropical region Generally has a hot climate because of its location near the equator... The Temprature is mostly near 40'C

Most Elephants live in Tropical Rain Forests.
It is adapted to the conditions of rainforests in many remarkable ways. Look at its trunk. It uses it as a nose because of which it has a strong sense of smell. The trunk is also used by it for picking up food. Moreover, it's tusks are modified teeth. These can tear he bark of trees that elephants love to eat. So, The elephant is able to handle the competition for food rather well. Large ears of the Elephant helps it to hear even very soft sounds.
